The OpenFUSION2024 Project is structured in two work packages:
WP1 on Linux Foundation TAPI Data Models where the following activities are included: standardization activities in support of Telefónica’s internal projects, as well as the evolution of standards given Telefónica’s roadmap and requirements; participation in conference calls and regular and regular meetings with Telefónica representatives to discuss and evaluate TAPI’s evolutions and objectives; definition of protocol data models and related interfaces to support transport network use cases and validation and migration activities of use cases from TAPI 2.1 to TAPI 2.5 versions. WP2 Analysis of the TeraflowSDN implementation of the QKD control including the aspects and protocols related to quantum key distribution (QKD) over software-defined networking (SDN), and how QKD capabilities are mapped to the TeraFlowSDN microservices architecture, including device drivers for QKD systems, that follow the ETSI GS QKD 015 V2.1.1 specification. Hands-on sessions will guide participants through utilizing the TeraFlowSDN web user interface and the North-Bound interface (NBI) to create and manage QKD applications.
