The main technical objective of the project is to build a LEO regenerative testbed with LEO constellation considered technologies for the on-board processor.  The testbed will be used in ESTEC laboratories to evaluate the performance and capabilities of communication networks, including data transfer rates, latency, and security, with the goal of performing technical trade-offs.

The goal is to be able to verify standards interoperability and future evolutions such as the co-existence of DVB and 5G transparent and regenerative modes for future LEO constellation systems, as well as co-existence of services of different security levels within the same payload.
