Marc Carrascosa

Marc Carrascosa Zamacois obtained a BSc degree in Telematics (2018) and an MSc degree in Intelligent Interactive Systems (2019) from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF). He is a PhD candidate in the Wireless Networking Research Group at UPF, working on enabling low-latency real-time applications over Wi-Fi under the supervision of professor Boris Bellalta. From March to June 2024, he joined Nokia Bell Labs Stuttgart, studying the use of Wi-Fi 7 features to optimize performance of Extended Reality (XR) traffic.

Since November 2024, he is working as a researcher in the Services as Networks (SaS) Research Unit at Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya (CTTC) in the context of the Plaza6G project.
