CTTC hosts the 2nd Workshop on Photonic Integrated Circuits for Telecom & Bio / Life Sciences

The PIC4TB members are proud to announce the 2nd Workshop on Photonic Integrated Circuits for Telecom & Bio / Life Sciences, that will be held at the Centre Tecnologic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya (CTTC). The workshop will be held in Castelldefels (Spain) at the CTTC premises, from Thursday October 26th to Friday October 27th, 2017. It will feature relevant scientific and technical speakers under the framework of the Spanish Network of Excellence PIC4TB (Photonic Integration Circuits for Telecommunications and Bio Sciences).

Topics

Scientific invited speakers will present their latest achievements and prospects of use of these technologies in research and development. The workshop scope includes:

  • Fabrication of photonic integrated circuits
  • Bio and medical optics
  • Microwave photonics and sensors
  • Photonic devices and systems for telecommunications
  • Optical networks

Registration

The workshop will be free of charge. Nevertheless, all the participants are kindly asked to register by sending an email to pascual.munoz [AT] upv.es.

Venue

The event will take place at the CTTC premises in Castelldefels (Barcelona), Spain. CTTC is located at the Mediterranean Technology Park, in the metropolitan area of Castelldefels. The Park has excellent road and rail links to Barcelona and airport.
