FUTURO 6G - Equipment for FUTURe 6G nOn-Terrestrial Networks (FUTURO 6G)

The FUTURO 6G proposal aims to expand the number of possible cases that can be considered in the laboratory to be created at CTTC for the experimentation of 6G NTN systems. This proposal is addressed to acquire equipment for the integration of terrestrial and satellite networks as well as to understand the performance of the satellite communications at different orbits and frequency bands, the management of the resulting traffic and long-standing measurement campaigns. Satellite transmission with high level of security is another line of interest in the equipment that will be bought. In our case, equipment will be purchased to reduce the time for quantum key distribution in satellite environments.
