Behnam is a researcher at the Telecommunication Technological Centre of Catalonia (CTTC). Previously, he was a Senior Research Engineer at ALDESA Group (ACISA). He received his PhD degree (Cum Laude) from the Signal Theory and Communications (TSC) Department at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) in July 2023. He also holds an M.Sc. degree from the Computer Engineering Department of TOBB-ETU (2017, Ankara) and completed another M.Sc. thesis at Telecom-BCN, UPC.

As a distinguished Marie Curie Alumni from the H2020 ITN Marie Skłodowska-Curie 5G SPOTLIGHT, along with his extensive experience in both academia and industry, Behnam has developed diverse expertise in critical areas such as Intent-Based Network (IBN) Management, Network Slicing, Cloud-Edge Computing, C-V2X/C-ITS, Smart City Mobility Solutions, (Inter)Urban Traffic Management Systems, SDN/NFV virtualization techniques, and B5G/6G RAN resource optimization.
