Danielly Garcia is currently dedicated to her doctoral thesis at the Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya (CTTC), focusing on innovative approaches to air quality and geospatial technology. Her research employs Geographic Information System (GIS) technology to integrate diverse data sources, aiming to provide easily accessible information to the entire community.

She holds a M.Sc. in Natural Resources Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) in 2021, and a Bachelor’s degree in Geoinformation and Geomatics Engineering from UPC in 2020. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geoprocessing from the Federal Institute of Goiás (IFG, Goiás, Brazil) in 2014.

Danielly has been working in the Geodesy and Navigation Division (GEON) of the CTTC Geomatics Research Unit since July 2019, contributing her expertise to various geomatics projects. Her active interest in the field of natural resources and air quality led her to develop a web viewer for air quality data collected through AirCrowd sensors as part of the C-AQM Sabadell project. She also worked on the evolution of the iPOLE prototype to a pre-commercial version and the development of a graphical user interface. Subsequently, the project was transferred to GeoKinesia, a company specializing in commercial exploitation of these technologies.
